Florence is a true inspiration. Her passion, enthusiasm and energy are addictive. - Gemma Collard Stokes (student)

Teaching/Workshops

I am a certified teacher of Skinner Releasing Technique, and have taught dance, performance and improvisation extensively at many studios including Independent Dance, DanceXchange in Birmingham, Dance Mission San Francisco, Academy for cultural studies in Riga Latvia, International Workshop Festival in London, and Central School of Speech and Drama. I currently lecture at Coventry University and Surrey University.

I am running a series of workshops, Materials for Making, that involve artist materials and body-based practices for devising performance. These workshops have taken place at Falling Wide Projects Easter School and the Summer Dancing festival in Coventry. More workshops are planned for the new year and will be posted here.

I will be teaching Skinner Releasing Technique this autumn with Kirsty Alexander at Siobhan Davies Studios. For more information about Skinner Releasing Technique and to book your place please go to fallingwideprojects.com.

You can see my profile and video on the Independent Dance website.
